Dear Families,

I hope that Fall 2011 is off to a good start for all of you! Here at Everest Academy,  it  definitely  is,  and  our  Admissions  and  Marketing  team  has been  busy.    To  give  you  a  brief  update  on  the  activities  of  the  past  few months:  Everest  has  been  present  at  the  Heritage  Fest  in  Lemont,  the Homer  Glen  Community  Expo,  the  Lemont  Keepataw  Day  Parade,  the Baby  Expo  in  Oak  Lawn,  and  most  recently,  the  Southside  Preschool  & Elementary  School  Fair.  We  have  been  holding  weekly  open  houses (Wednesday  mornings)  and  have  had  a  few  families  stop  in  to  learn more  about  Everest  and  tour  the  campus.  This  next  month  we  will  be hosting a “Realtor Brunch” for local realtors to come and learn about Everest, since the realtor luncheon held last May was so successful! Also, I  cannot  forget  to  mention  the  hard  work  and  dedication  of  the Marketing “core team”, consisting of some Everest parents who have generously  offered  their  time  and  talent  to  help  us  with  our  marketing efforts. We will have a marketing analysis and strategy completed within the  next  month,  and  then  we  will  be  ready  to  begin  the  Marketing Committee meetings, open to all interested parents.

I sincerely thank all of you for your prayers and support as we strive to promote Everest and reach more families. Last week students were sent home  with  some  Everest  promotional  materials  such  as  a  car  decal, matchbook flyers,  and  a yard  sign.  If  you did  not  receive  these  for  your family,  please  contact  the  office  –  we  have  plenty  extra.    Feel  free  to hand  these  out  to  family  and  friends,  neighbors,  or  even  leave  them  at local businesses! We have a lot in the office, so please don‟t hesitate to ask for more if you will use them.  Thank you and have a great month!

We are so excited to welcome 12 new students to Everest Academy this week! Please join us in welcoming our new families!

We would also like to congratulate the Waligora Family who are the first participants of our referral program and earned $1,000.00 for their efforts.   We would also like to thank the Hogan and Hamilton families for their referrals.
 
Calls are coming in on a daily basis and we look forward to a successful Open House on Sunday, January 30th from 1:00-3:00pm! Please help promote this to your family, friends and neighbors. Remember, if you
refer someone who attends the Open House, you receive $20.00 in Everest dollars! If that family decides to enroll at Everest Academy you will then receive $1,000.00 CA$H!! Now is the time to work this exciting promotion!

  Hello Everest Academy Families, faculty and Students; 

I am very excited to share with you that we will be welcoming 5 new students in the month of January: 3 of which are Young 3’s, one that is Pre-K 4, and one that is Kindergarten.  

Also, a marketing committee is in the making and I am looking for about 5 or 6 motivated and creative parents that are willing to devote some of their time to help with ideas, pictures, and write-ups on certain events that may be featured in some local news sources. This committee will most likely be meeting once every week to begin and will focus on getting our having our school.

Please contact me if you are interested in this Marketing Committee within the next week as these next few months are the most crucial in terms of school admission. Help me to bring more new friends for your children and our school community. Thanks and God Bless!
