As you clean out the closets and are making room for winter clothes, please keep in mind our Annual Coat Drive to benefit local area families. We will be collecting winter clothing items until the end of October. Thank you for your generosity!
The Everest Coat Drive
A very warm congratulations to all the students for last month’s Coat Drive! We collected more than 70 coats and other winter clothing to benefit the needy of the town of Lemont. On Nov. 8, the 5th-6thgrade class sorted and folded the coats for delivery to the Lemont Police Station. In the pocket of every coat they placed a holy card to help comfort the one who receives it. Thank you to all who contributed!

Dear Everest Families,
Thank you to all the students and families that participated in this month's Winter Coat Drive benefiting those in need from our local community.
Following the example of St Martin of Tours who shared his cloak with a poor beggar, we collected more than forty coats and other warm clothing in these past few weeks. We remember the words of Christ, "whatever you did for the least of these brothers of mine, you do for me" (Mt. 25:40).

We will be delivering these coats and other winter clothing to Hope and Friendship, a local organization that supports families in the community surrounding our school. Thank you again for your generosity!
Also, thank you to the students who have been collecting money for our Change 4 Change apostolate. Congratulations to those classes which have collected the most this month and for the year!
Most collected this month: Grade 7th-8th ($18.72)
Most collected year-to-date: Grade 5th-6th ($69.20)
This brings our Total Collected Year-to-Date to $222.31. Please continue to pray for the two students we are sponsoring: Juan Pablo and Amayrani.

Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you for making Everest Academy a reality. With the aid of the Holy Spirit, may we touch the lives of many people and bring to our community the joy of knowing and loving Jesus Christ.
