Dear Parents,
I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you as you have arranged your week. We will have to change our plans for tomorrow.
Unfortunately, due to pressing responsibilities, Fr. John Connor LC will not be able to come to Everest as we had hoped. This is a disappointment to Fr. Connor as well as to us, as he was looking forward to greeting the Everest Academy family, of students, faculty, staff and parents.
In light of this change in plans, our Mass schedule for the week has been revised as follows:
Wednesday, March 16 Morning Mass at 7:15 a.m. No All School Mass
Friday, March 18 No Mass at 7:15 a.m. All School Mass at 2:20 p.m.
Thank you for your patience and flexibility as we adapt to this change in plans.

Father John Connor, LC is the Atlanta territorial director for the Legionaries of Christ. Father Connor was ordained to the priesthood in 2001. He has served as dean of discipline at Everest Academy in Madrid, Spain and as chaplain in the missions of Michoacan, Mexico. He most recently served in the Legion’s development office, as local coordinator of apostolate in New York and as chaplain of the Lumen Institute.
We are very pleased to have Fr. John Connor visit us for the first time. He will be here on Wednesday to visit our school, students, and families.
Our students are preparing a short but heartfelt welcome for Fr. John. They will sing a song for him whic they have been practicing this week -- “Thank you for Being a Friend” -- and will present him with a spiritual bouquet.
Please join us in an All School Mass and assembly with Fr. John. Do encourage your children to practice the song this weekend. We look forward to seeing you there.

Prayer for Everest
Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you for making Everest Academy a reality. With the aid of the Holy Spirit, may we touch the lives of many people and bring to our community the joy of knowing and loving Jesus Christ. We thank Our Mother Mary for her help and ask for her continued care and protection. Amen.
School Masses
Join us for All School Mass on Friday at 2:20pm or Morning Mass at 7:15 am Tues., Wed., and Thurs.
Lean on Me Holy Hour
Spend some time with Jesus every Thursday, after morning Mass 7:45am
