Everest Academy Annual Fund Drive 2012

Pledge now to achieve 100% participation!

The Annual Fund Drive makes it possible for Everest Academy to continue the tradition of excellence that began 16 years ago, through dedication, commitment, and sacrifice of parents, families, and friends.

What? The Everest Academy Annual Fund Drive supports the day-to-day operating costs of running our school. Through your generous gift to the annual fund, we are all able to share in supporting our mission and providing an exceptional education to our children.

Every contribution, whatever the amount, plays an important role in helping Everest Academy to be one of the best schools in the area.  It is important to note that:

Tuition covers only part of what it costs to educate a child at Everest Academy.
The difference of must be made up through the generous contributions of our families, friends and benefactors.

The success of the Annual Fund Drive depends on the participation of the entire Everest Academy community.  It is essential for us to have 100% parent, faculty and staff participation.

Why?  When applying for grants and sponsorships, many organizations request our participation rates. This helps show benefactors that our families are committed. The higher our participation rate, the more favorable we are to receive additional funding.

Who?  We wish to send a heartfelt “THANK YOU” to the families that have already responded with a pledge. May your generosity be blessed in abundance! Families who donate $1,000 and up will become part of the Co-Founders Society.

Where and When? For your convenience, pledges will be accepted at the front door car line in the mornings this coming week November 30 – December 7th from 7:45-8:00 AM after you have dropped off your children at their regular door.

We give from the heart….and give what we can.

Your gift makes a difference!

On Behalf of the Everest Academy Board of Directors
Dear Everest Academy parents,

Through the generosity of our parents, grandparents, staff and faculty, Board members, and friends, Everest Academy was able to provide financial assistance to students and cover a part of operational costs. Additionally, the gym was finished, complete with painted lines, basketball backboards and rims, and wall-to-wall padding. We still owe $9,000 on that $55,000 project.

The Annual Fund encourages and recognizes the loyalty and support of parents, faculty and staff, grandparents, and friends of Everest Academy. Annual Fund gifts, which are unrestricted, help defray operating expenses and support the people and programs that make Everest Academy unique – talented teachers, smaller class sizes, excellent resources and exceptional offerings in all areas of our education program. Because these special assets have a major impact on the budget, we must turn to parents and friends for financial support.

As Everest Academy parents, you have the opportunity to make a statement of financial support for the school. The goal for the 2010-2011 Annual Fund Campaign is to raise $50,000 and to achieve 100% participation  from our families, Faculty and staff before the close of the Campaign on May 1, 2011. This strong participation is critical in demonstrating a broad base of support when we seek funding from foundations and corporations, and especially our own benefactors! Each tax-deductible gift, no matter the size, brings us that much closer to realizing both of these goals.

Many corporations match employee gifts to schools.  If you work for a company that matches charitable donations, you may be able to double or triple the amount you give. Matching Gift Forms should be available from your company’s Human Resource Department.

Given our enrollment numbers, tuition does not cover the full cost of educating a student at Everest. But we have been blessed with supporters who understand that Everest is in the position of a start-up company, and that we need extra help until we build up to a proper number of students. Given this substantial help, our goal this year is to raise $50,000 in the Annual Fund. We ask that you prayerfully consider joining other Everest Academy  families, faculty and staff members  with a gift to offset the difference.  Your donation can consist of cash, stock,  other securities, or credit card. Please sign and return the enclosed pledge card indicating the amount of your donation or pledge.

Thank you for joining us as we continue to work  together  to form today’s children and tomorrow’s
leaders.

Yours in Christ,

Everest Board Member and chaplain, Fr Andre LaSana, LC
Everest Board Member, Dr Joel Akroush
