Gala Information In the Heart of Lemont

Dear Everest Parents:

As you know, the 2011 Gala will take place on Saturday, March 5.  What better way to celebrate and showcase our beautiful school than to host the Gala at Everest Academy!  The theme is, “In the Heart of Lemont.”
Enclosed you will find Raffle Tickets for the drawing to be held on March 5, 2011, at the Gala.  Please note, if you have any Raffle Tickets printed with a Gala date of October 2010, those tickets are no longer valid.  If you have unsold 2010 tickets at home, please return them to the school immediately.  If you purchased 2010 raffle tickets and have the stubs, please contact one of the Raffle Committee members noted at the end of this letter.
Each Everest family will be receiving 18 tickets – tickets are $20 each, or 6 for $100.  In order to make this Raffle and Gala successful, we ask that each family try to sell all 18 tickets.  If you cannot do so, please return the tickets to the school so we can redistribute those tickets.  The Grand Prize is $5,000, provided we sell 750 or more tickets.
Some suggestions for selling your raffle tickets would be to have them with you during holiday celebrations.  Your children can tell aunts, uncles, grandparents, etc. how much they love their school and ask them to buy a raffle ticket.  You can purchase them as Christmas gifts, or ask your doctor, dentist, neighbors, etc. to buy a ticket.
There will be a special raffle – the “Family Incentive” – to be held at the Gala.  For the first 18 tickets a family sells, their name will go into a drawing for a chance to win $500.  For every 6 tickets sold thereafter, the family will receive another chance to win. 
There also will be a contest – the “Student Body Incentive.”  More information will be available in the next several weeks with details about ticket sales and prizes.
