Everest Knights

Our Everest Academy basketball team completed an exciting 2nd half surge to edge St. Ann's 6th Grade
team 27-22 on Sunday afternoon. Losing by 5 at halftime, the Knights scored 8 unanswered points in
the second half and never lost the lead for the remainder of the game. Brendan Wood had two key
blocks and Brian Trochuk collected several rebounds before fouling out in the final minutes.  Petey
Diamond led all scorers with 15 points. The Knights are 3-0 this season .

Arrangements are being made for two games with East Lake Academy during the season. This will hopefully begin a healthy rivalry  between the two Legionary schools and promises to be an exciting series of
games. We hope that we will have the continued support and encouragement of Everest Academy fans throughout the upcoming season.  Go Knights!
