Thy Kingdom Come!
Dear Parents in Christ,
At Everest Academy we do our best to form the great leaders of our society, in an intellectual, human, spiritual and apostolic way. We teach our students to give, share what they learn, and that’s why we need “apostolate”. The word “apostle” means “sent”; what we try to do with these apostolates is to “send them” to preach what they learn not just with the word, but with their actions.

 Change for Change is an apostolate that exists because we believe it’s a solution to a problem. One of the problems is the lack of quality education for students in developing areas and the high drop-out rates in government schools. With the money the students collect, the sponsored student will be provided a high-quality education through our Mano Amiga Schools, which is a school chain that provides high quality and Catholic education for those who can’t provide it for themselves.
How and what are we doing?
·         Teachers are motivating the students find coins to fill the “yellow box” in their class made for this specific purpose.
·         Students are asked to bring loose change (perhaps by sacrificing a favorite dessert or their own allowance) to put in the coin box. Students are not encouraged to ask their parents for money, but the main source should be to provide it through personal sacrifice and earnings.

$650 is what is necessary to sponsor one child. After collecting the scholarship money we will send it to a corresponding family through Catholic World Missions.

 Let’s keep praying for these students in need. I’m totally convinced that God is the first person that admires the generosity of all of your children helping this cause.
