Dear Everest Families in Christ,
I’m glad to announce that this Friday during Mass we will have the Solemn Incorporation of the Altar Servers into the Knights of the Altar.
You are all invited, especially the parents of the incorporees. This is the beginning of a new stage in their lives which they decide to take on their shoulders. Remember: “Leadership and Service”, that’s what they are all about; a servant leader of Christ and their own peers.
After the homily, they will be receiving the uniform and each one of them will get his “Identification Prayer Book” with their Acolyte ID on it and the prayers and practices of a Knight of the Altar. And then, they will recite all together the “Code of Honor” of every Knight of the Altar. They will all start as “Pages”, which is the first rank of the Knights. I hope to see you this Friday. Dear Parents in Christ,
We already have 13 Knights of the Altar! Everyone is excited about it. The Solemn Incorporation took place last Friday during Mass, where each one of them stood up straight and said “Present” as a sign of their service to God at the Altar. They got their “ID Prayer Books” and they said their Code of Honor together. That day they formed a brotherhood that they will always remember for the rest of their lives. It’s really remarkable to see these young boys taking such a great responsibility of being a great Leader and a great Servant, as the motto of the Knight states: “Leadership and Service”. These students are striving for high ideals.

Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you for making Everest Academy a reality. With the aid of the Holy Spirit, may we touch the lives of many people and bring to our community the joy of knowing and loving Jesus Christ. We thank Our Mother Mary for her help and ask for her continued care and protection. Amen.
