Dear Parents of Everest Academy,
Greetings! I hope all of you are well and enjoying God’s many daily graces.
I am very pleased to communicate a great piece of news to you: Ms. Christine Gamache has agreed to a three year commitment to Everest Academy, serving as principal (year 1 is 2010-11). In six months, in working with the Everest faculty, staff and parents, Everest Academy has experienced positive growth under her leadership. Ms. Gamache will be the first one to point out that there is still much to do, but I firmly believe that our growth, including the 12 new students and their families that have joined us in this New Year, proves that Everest is on track in all of its improvements.
We look forward to the upcoming school years, as part of the next stages of development for our Everest community with Ms. Gamache’s leadership, providing the stability we have sought at Everest Academy. These two years will not be spent idly waiting for a long-term successor to Miss Gamache, but we will be searching diligently for a very qualified and capable principal who can spend one academic year serving with Miss Gamache to ensure a smooth transition.
Momentum at Everest Academy is in high gear. Miss Gamache and her staff, the local board and Legionaries, and ICIF and Integer will all be working together to ensure that such momentum continues as we develop your children into the strong, integrally formed leaders each one is called to be.
Please do continue your support for Everest Academy. Your children’s future is our mission!
Yours sincerely,
Fr. André LaSana, LC
Everest Academy School Board President

About Everest

Everest Academy Lemont, founded in 1995 as White Pines Academy, is a private Catholic school offering a Pre-K through grade 8 program.

Our goal is to offer each child the highest quality education through Integral Formation®, the pedagogical method developed by the Legionaries of Christ. Through Integral Formation®, each student benefits from a personalized approach that develops the whole person, from intellect and character to spiritual life and apostolic responsibility. The result: intelligent, responsible, and positive leaders who will transform society with the Gospel values.

Here at Everest Academy, with our brand new campus opened for the fall 2009 school year, we are poised for growth and ready to give our students a Catholic educational experience that will last them a lifetime. Find out more by taking a tour of our campus.
