Everest Families and Friends are invited to celebrate

the Feast of Christ the King


Mark your calendars now for November's Family Fun Night which will be held in conjunction with activities related to celebrating the Feast of Christ the King. 

The celebration of the solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ the King at the end of the liturgical year is like a symphony which celebrates, in its entirety, the mystery of God. Since this annual feast is celebrated on the last Sunday of the church year, one may think of it as a beautiful family New Year's Eve Party (the following Sunday begins Advent, which is the beginning of the church year). 

We hope that families and friends of Everest Academy will be able to join us for this very special Family Fun Night event

The Feast of Christ the King was established by Pope Pius XI in 1925 as an antidote to secularism, a way of life which leaves God out of man's thinking and living and organizes his life as if God did not exist. In last week's annual Student Council Dress the Pumpkin Contest, students worked together in teams to come up with very creative pumpkins.

Parents had the opportunity to vote for the Best Dressed Pumpkin 
during Parent-Teacher Conferences

Everest Academy has partnered with the Dominick's eScrip program. It is an easy way for our school to raise funds through purchases made at Dominick's. Whether you shop every day or occasionally, you can contribute! The Dominick's eScrip Program contributes up to 4% of your purchases to Everest Academy.

Supporters of our beloved school simply register their Dominick's Fresh Values Card and every purchase made at Dominick's raises money for Everest Academy. Be sure to share this link with your friends and relatives that shop at Dominick’s and have them sign up their card as well!

Step 2: Click on About the Program
Step 3: Click on Sign Up Now!          
Step 4: Enter our group ID # 500043473
Step 5: Enter your contact information and Dominick’s Card Number
Step 6: Click Next until your registration is complete.

For hassle free registration, simply fill out the form below and return it to Everest Academy so we can complete the registration of your Dominick’s Fresh Values Card online. Dear Everest Parents:

It’s an exciting time to be involved on this brand new committee, Everest Around Town!  We have made great strides as a new committee, not only in the research that the team has compiled, but taking the time to sift through the many opportunities, to find the ones that make the most sense for our Everest community.    You will receive monthly, this “Everest Around Town Update” to not only see how past features are going, but to introduce a new monthly feature.   

Please see below October’s Feature:  eScrip & Dominick’s.    This one is a clear cut, easy way to contribute to Everest through your regular grocery shopping.  And it only takes one minute to fill out the registration form.  (Click on the Everest Around Town homepage link below to access the form.)  We do the rest for you!  (If you have already done so, thank you!  I probably caught you at Harvest Fest!)
