Important info for Grandparents Day - Nov 22

Dear Everest Academy Parents,

Grandparents Day is fast approaching and we are busy preparing for this annual tradition.

This special day will be held on Tuesday, November 22nd.  We hope that you will be able to assist us in a few ways:

  • Please send in pictures of your family/children with their grandparents – either hard copy or digital files by Tuesday, November 8th.  These will be used for a special gift for your child(ren)’s grandparents. All photographs sent in will be returned.
  • Tomorrow, we will be sending home invitations.  Please assist your child to address, stamp and mail these invitations to their grandparents as soon as possible.  We will also be sending home cards for your child(ren) to write a personal note to be included with the invitation.  Feel free to invite “adopted” grandparents (uncles or aunts, elderly neighbors or friends) if you know that their grandparents cannot attend.
  • To help us plan for the event, we request that you RSVP for your grandparents.  Please send in your reservations for all those who will be attending by Tuesday, November 15th.  You may simply call the school office or reply to this email with the following information:

No. of Adults: ___   Children: ___   Grandparents: ___

  • In addition to Thanksgiving, November is also traditionally a month that we honor the deceased. If you would like to have the mass that will be celebrated on Grandparents’ Day offered for a deceased grandparent, and other relatives please send us those names when you RSVP.
