Teacher's Professional Development Day

On October 8th  the teachers of Everest Academy attended a professional development day with all the teachers and principals of Vicariate II in the diocese. The main presenter was Sr. Mary Paul Superintendent of Schools. The presentations focused on the value and gift of Catholic education. Sr. Mary Paul stressed the vocation of Catholic educators and the need to appreciate one‟s role in influencing the lives of our children
and leading them in the fullness of the Truth. The event was hosted by St. Catherine of Siena school. The sessions concluded with Mass. As a Catholic school  in this Vicariate Everest Academy is welcomed in all
aspects of professional development and support provided by the Diocese. The teamwork has been impressive. We are very grateful for this affiliation, to be a part of the work and support of Catholic Schools here in Chicago.

Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you for making Everest Academy a reality. With the aid of the Holy Spirit, may we touch the lives of many people and bring to our community the joy of knowing and loving Jesus Christ.
