In honor of October being the month of the Rosary, it is a tradition and expression of our faith and devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary that we pray a living Rosary each year as a school  in Ocober. Father Andre opened our rosary commenting on the gift and power of this beautiful prayer given to us by the blessed Virgin Mary herself.

This year the students prayed the rosary in five different languages with the leaders of each decade reciting the Hail Mary in one language and the response being in English.

The following Languages were represented with the 1st decade recited in Lithuanian by Sr. Laima. The 2nd decade recited in Spanish by Julia Delgado and John Beecher. The 3rd decade recited in Polish by Diana Foran and Catherine Takla. The 4th decade recited in French by Sean Girouard and Sophia Colarelli and finally the 5th decade recited in Russian by Vlad and Nina Polivka.

The mysteries and intentions were announced by members of the 5/6 grade class. Verses of Marian Hymns were sung by all the children in between each decade. Miss. Teresa led us through vivid meditations for each mystery. All the students prayed thoughtfully truly carrying out this feast day with great distinction and reverence for our Blessed  mother Mary. Thank you to all the parents who attended.
