Thy Kingdom Come!

Dear Parents and Families in Christ,

I’m sending to you some pictures of the great "Lenten Retreat" that we had on St. Patrick’s Day. It was a blast for everyone! We had talks, rosary, way of the cross, inspirational videos, fun, sports, pizza-lunch by the camp site and special deserts (cupcakes, muffins and shamrock shakes) thanks to James Beecher who turned 12 that same day! We had two teams and the winner got a prize at the end. We also gave out a "Charity Award", which was given to Jack Zabilka for having given his coat to someone who needed it and for having shown charity throughout that day and the past weeks. Great job, gentlemen!

Right before dismissal, we all got together to discuss what we wanted to do for Christ in order to better ourselves and to keep raising the standard. Each team jotted down some good points to work on. Keep it up! Never give up!

It was very fruitful and I hope that the seeds planted by God in their hearts flourish into a robust tree.
