Dear Parents,

The past few weeks the students have all been working on order in their classrooms and in their cubbies. I have noticed great improvement from some of our students, especially in our Lower School. They have all been trying to hang up their coats in the morning, and have their book bags neatly stored away. It is beautiful to see what a little encouragement can do for some of our students! Children are generally always eager to learn and to better themselves, and for this reason every moment is an opportunity to help form our students to be the best that they can be. I encourage you as parents to make sure there is a daily routine for them to follow at home, as that will only help them to be constant in forming the habit of being orderly. This is a well needed virtue that gives peace of mind to everyone, especially you as parents.

Know that you and your families are in our prayers as we get closer to Holy Week. We have reminded our students that Lent and Holy Week is a very special time to console the heart of Jesus, and to stop and remember the great love that Jesus has for each one of us. Our Mission Corp Volunteers will be going into each classroom next week with a simple activity to help the students come up with practical ways to live their Holy Week very close to Jesus.

“This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers.” 1 Jn 3:16 May these last few weeks of Lent be a time where we imitate Christ’s love for us by going out of our way to love those that Christ has put in our lives.

Count on my prayers for you and your family!
