Saint Sebastian is the Patron Saint of Sports because as a he was a centurion who was extremely fit and able to withstand long physical endurance. And we all know, that sometimes we look at our three and our year olds and wonder where do they get all that energy!!!  As such, we are proud to continue the Little Centurions Soccer Club for Pre-K at Everest Academy.

John and Cindy O’Malley, parents of Sean and Tommy in Pre-K 3 and Tracie Barwick, mother of Andrew in Pre-K 3 have decided to volunteer their time once per week to play soccer with the preschool students in our gym after school. The soccer class is a parent with child format with other preschool parents urged to join in on the fun. Non-competitive creative game style of teaching balance, ball kicking skills, and listen skills.

The cost is only $20.00 per child. A 50% discount is given to those children returning again from the previous session. Proceeds from the soccer club fees go towards buying new soccer equipment (balls,
nets, cones) for the children to use.

Make checks payable to Everest Academy and turn in a child and a parent permission/waiver form to the front office. Or you can send the two forms along in your child’s back pack. Your information will be forwarded to the O’Malleys. A permission slip is attached along with this month’s newsletter.  Permission slips are also available from the school office.
